Arthur "Rabbit" Gover

Arthur Gover, a.k.a. “Rabbit”, passed away at the Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY. on Sunday, October 12, 2014, having reached the age of 96. Arthur was born in Elihu, KY. On August 15, 1918 to the late Clarence and Florence Goff Gover. Arthur had seven brothers, Clyde, Herbert, Claude, Roy, Fenimore, Jim, and Clarence Jr., and three sisters, Mary, Ora, and Margaret. All preceded him in death. On November 1, 1940, Arthur married Alma Rogers. They remained married until her death on November 29, 1989. Arthur is survived by one son Roger Gover, his wife Beverly Gover, and Doug (Lisa) Elliott II. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Boyd Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy should take the form of donations to the charity of your choice. The family requests no food or flowers please.
