Raymond Stogsdill

Mr. Raymond Stogsdill, son of the late Herbert Green and Flora Hargis Stogsdill was born in Whetstone, Kentucky on May 16, 1915 and departed this life on September 22, 2008 at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation facility in Brodhead, Kentucky having attained the age of 93 years. Mr. Stogsdill is survived by two sons; Doyle (and Marilyn) Bruner Stogsdill of London, KY., Dale (and Rose) Merrick Stogsdill of Lexington, KY, two sisters; Hazel Whitson of Somerset, KY., and Betty Ruth Kerr of Tip City, OH. He is preceded in death by his wife; Nina Phelps Stogsdill, five brothers; Herman, Lloyd, Marlin(Jay Bird), Arlie J., and Merle Stogsdill, three sister; Norma Barnes, Alberta McCombs, and Audrey Stogsdill, four brother-in-laws; William Kerr, Stewart Whitson, Paul McCombs, and Richard Barnes, and three sister-in-laws; Faye (Vaught) Stogsdill, Wilma Stogsdill, and Violet Stogsdill. Mr. Stogsdill was a retired Plumber and member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Somerset, KY. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2008 at 1:00p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Don Jones officiating. The family of Raymond Stogsdill will receive friends on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 6-9p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be held in the Randall’s Chapel Cemetery. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
