Lloyd A. King

May 15, 1940 — September 20, 2008

Lloyd Alan King, of Burnside was the son of the late Thelma T. King. He Graduated from Trinity High School and attended the University of Louisville. He was a licensed Journeyman and Master Plumber and owner of King Quality Plumbing Inc. He later worked for Reliable Contracting Group of Louisville, Kentucky. He was a founding member of the Tateville Volunteer Fire Department and served on the Board of Directors and was a firefighter for more than 15 years. He belonged to the Garland Bend Homeowners Association. He enjoyed hunting fishing, camping and working in his garden. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Judy, whom he married on August 6, 1960 in Louisville, Kentucky. Two sons Darryl (Tammy) King, Dale King (Special Friend, Anita Cooper), and one daughter Robin (Jay) Wesley all of Burnside: Five grandchildren Ashley, Austin, Jacob and Tyler King, Gideon Wesley and one great granddaughter, Rylie Logan: and one very special friend Morris Skidmore. He was a terrific husband, father, grandfather and will be missed deeply by all. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Burnside Cemetery. The family of Lloyd King will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday September 23, 2008. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
