Demcy Marie Dalton Gover

Mrs. Demcy Marie Dalton Gover age 88, the daughter of the late Luther and Clara Tarter Dalton was born in Naomi KY on April 9, 1920 and departed this life on September 19, 2008 at Britthaven of Somerset. She was married to Mr. John V. Gover for 58 years who preceded her in death. Demcy worked for 35 years as a cake decorator for Pulaski Bakery. As a young girl she made a profession of faith and joined the Bethlehem Baptist Church of Naomi. In 1942 she joined the First Baptist Church of Somerset where she was a faithful member for 66 years. She was preceded in Death by her Parents, her Husband, four brothers; Hobert, Murrel, Luke and Louid Dalton, two sisters; Nellie Dalton Norfleet and Thelma Dalton Bugg. She is survived by two sister; Mildred Dalton Cornett and Helen Dalton Pichney. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews whom Demcy and John loved as their own. Funeral Services for Mrs. Demcy Gover will be held in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bill Haynes officiating. Burial will be held in the Tarter Cemetery at Naomi. The family of Mrs. Demcy Gover will receive friends Monday September 22, 2008 after 11:00a.m.until time of services at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
