Nora Elma Haste

Mrs. Nora Elma (Stogsdill) Haste, Daughter of the late Josiah and Nora Hargis Stogsdill was born at Shopville Ky. on March 22, 1926 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday December 29, 2005, at Britthaven Nursing Home, in Somerset, Kentucky. Having attained the age of 79 years. Mrs. Haste was a homemaker,and a member of the Buena Vista Baptist Church. She was married to Mr. William Thomas Haste, at Ringgold Georgia in 1959 ,who went home to be with the Lord November 28, 2004. Survivors include a son Mike Haste of Lexington,Kentucky; sister Dorthy Mounce of Shopville, Kentucky; sister Mary Mounce of Stanford, Kentucky; brother Arnold and Imogene Stogsdill of Stanford, Kentucky; brother Okel and Zora Stogsdill of Shopville, Kentucky. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Parents , and several brothers and sisters. Elma leaves a host of family, friends and church family to mourn her passing. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 1, 2005 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Stacey officiating. Burial followed in the Whetstone Cemetery. Pulaski Funeral Home was entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
