Robert S "Bobby" Hamilton

Robert S (Bobby) Hamilton, age 60 of Somerset, KY passed away at his home with friends and family by his side to be with the Lord on September 10, 2014. He was born on November 21, 1953 to the late Glen Robert Hamilton and Betty Faye Hamilton. Bobby was a member and a trustee of the First Baptist Church, Somerset, KY. He was a past member of the IBEW. He was an electrical inspector for RECC and the State of Kentucky. Bobby was a passionate golfer and enjoyed shooting skeet. Above all Bobby enjoyed giving to others. He was preceded in death by his wife Julie Godby Hamilton and by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Kathy, his son, Robert Lucas Hamilton, brother, William Lee (Bill) Hamilton, and a sister, Glenda Faye Hamilton, all of Somerset, Kentucky; stepsons, Todd Cooper, Jr., and Will Cooper, of Bristol, Virginia; Nephew, William Samuel Hamilton, and a niece, Tesa Gabrielle Hamilton. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Dave Fraley, Mackie Coomer, Danny Vaught, Tim Barron, David Cornett, Clark Dugger, Tim Hamilton, Terry Branscum and Ben Alderdice. Visitation for Mr. Robert (Bobby) Hamilton will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the sanctuary at Somerset First Baptist Church. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm in the sanctuary of Somerset First Baptist Church with Dr. French Harmon officiating. There will be a celebration of life following the service in the Bridge. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the American Cancer Society. God Bless You.
