Marlon "Buzz" Burton

Marlon “Buzz” Burton, 78, left this life on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. He was born in Naomi, KY on April 5, 1936. Buzz was a retired milk truck driver and home builder, who, although retired, continued to work harder than most everybody who knew and loved him. He was a faithful member of the Lake Cumberland Church of the Nazarene. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend who loved the Lord his God with all his heart, with all his soul, and with all his mind, never failing to love his neighbor as himself. He lived this philosophy every day of his life. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sharp Burton of Nancy, KY, his son, Tony Jasper of Richmond, KY, a sister, Jewell Miller of Canton, OH, a brother, Denville Burton of Nancy, KY, a sister, Josephine Phelps of Evansville, IN and a twin sister, Marlene Fowler of Somerset, KY. He was predeceased by his parents, Ella Marcum Burton and Teddy Burton, twin sons, Tony Lance Burton and Terry Vance Burton, a brother, Delano Burton, and two infant brothers. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Pastor Seth Tidball officiating. Burial will follow in the Tarter Cemetery. Visitation for Marlon “Buzz” Burton will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 be at 11:00 a.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, KY. until time for services.
