Gladys Bray

Mrs. Gladys Bray, age 89, daughter of the late George and “Sis” Burton was born in Somerset, Kentucky on December 26, 1924 and departed this life on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Wayne County Hospital. Gladys was united in marriage to Mr. Hubert Bray, he preceded her in death, she was also preceded in death by one son; Eugene Bray, one daughter; Donna Vance and one grandson; Timothy Roberts. Gladys is survived by one son; Dale (and Cynthia) Bray of Anderson, South Carolina, one daughter; Charlotte (and Danny) Owens of Greer, South Carolina, one brother; Albert Burton of Somerset, Kentucky, one sister; Melba Nichols also of Somerset. Gladys also leaves behind 8 grandchildren; Barry Bray, Melinda Browning, Merlyn White, Jason Bray, Tina Neu, Michael, Jeremy, Jessie Bray and 12 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Phelps officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Gladys Bray will receive friends on Saturday, September 6, 2014 from 5-8 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.
