Mr. Billy Joe Rogers

Mr. Billy Joe Rogers, age 72 of Nancy, KY passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at McCreary County Health and Rehabilitation. He was born on September 29, 1941 in Shepola, KY to the late Joe and Ruth Molen Rogers. Mr. Rogers worked at Robinson Milling Company and most recently at Shell Oil Company for Charlie Correll. He is survived by; four sisters, Regina Barker of Nancy, KY, Isanell Sumpter and Anna Mae Simpson of Somerset, KY and Illene (and Carter) Muse of Nancy, KY; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Rogers and a host of nieces and nephews. Billy Joe was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Geneva Branscum and Betty Ruth Rogers; and one brother, Frankie Rogers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Jasper officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitus Cemetery. The family of Mr. Billy Joe Rogers will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plane.
