Vera Christine Miller

Mrs. Vera Christine Miller of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late Louis and Lena Hail Gragg was born in Somerset, KY., on January 1, 1920 and passed away at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital on Thursday, September 11, 2008 having attained the age of 88. Mrs. Miller is survived by two sons; Cecil Ray (and Pat) Miller of Bronston, KY., and Edward Miller, one daughter; JoAnn Miller of Somerset, KY., and one sister Evelyn Williams of Fresno, CA. Mrs. Miller is also survived by three grandchildren; Jimmy (and Karen) Woodall, Shanoah Miller, and Christopher Miller, two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews that will mourn her passing. Besides her parents Vera Christine Miller is preceded in death by three sisters; Sarah Sumpter, Edna Dykes, and Madeline Walker. Mrs. Miller was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a wonderful Housewife and loving Mother Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Clay Hill Cemetery. The family of Vera Christine Miller will receive friends on Saturday, September 13, 2008 after 11:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers family request that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
