Wendell Gholson

Mr. Wendell Gholson, age 65, of Richmond, Ky, formerly of Cain Store Community, passed away on Tuesday, September 09, 2008 at the Richmond Health and rehabilitation Center. Survivors include; one son, Jerry Gholson; two daughters, Carolyn Mitman and Barbara Arnold; four granddaughters all of Angola, IN; two brothers, Bobby and Janie Gholson, of Burnside, KY, Gale Gholson of Somerset, KY; three sisters, Geraldine and Jerry Busenburg of Huntington, IN, and Edna and Roy Simpson of Waco, KY and Ivalee and Bobby Meece of Somerset, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Willie and Lola Huff Gholson; one brother, Verlan “Bo” Gholson; and one sister, Mary Sue Marshall. He was a member of the Newby Baptist Church. And he was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Guiley officiating. Burial will follow in the Caintown Cemetery. The family of Mr. Wendell Gholson will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the funeral home.
