Mrs. Jeannie Hall

Jeannie Hall, age 73 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, August 16th, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Merial and Ruth Sowders Wilson. She leaves behind her husband of 54 years, David Hall and one son, Benjamin (and Robin) Hall; two sisters, Cathy Shepherd, and Myrna (and Hollis) Dalton; two nephews, David and Michael Shepherd, and one niece, Jennifer Southerland. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by; one son, Brian Hall. She was a former bookkeeper for many local businesses and she attended the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she was a long time member, serving in many roles including Sunday School Teacher. She truly cared about people and had a good sense of humor. Jeannie was a loving wife, mother and friend to many. Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Eld. C. E. Jacobs and Rev. Paul Hines officiating. Burial will follow in the Tanner Cemetery. The family of Jeannie Hall will receive friends at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning, August 19, 2014 until time for services. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, or the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
