Shelby Lane Smith

Shelby Lane Smith was born to Christopher and Robin Smith on Nov 9, 1994. Shelby departed this life on August 8, 2014 and is now in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior. He was a little blessing from day one. His infectious smile and loving eyes captivated and inspired everyone who has had the privilege to meet him. He is survived by his parents Robin Leah Dalton, his father Christopher Todd Smith and; a step-father, Kevin Dalton; his brother, TJ (Sara) Smith; a sister, Emily Smith; maternal grandparents, Debra Sanders (Scott Crawford); paternal grandparents, Ed and Carla Smith; his great grandmother, Mae Smith, and step-grandparents, Dianna Dalton, Doug (Terrie) Collins, and Jack (Candy) Schwarz. He is also survived by; one niece, Olivia Smith; one nephew, Jackson Smith; cousins, Seth and Reanne Acridge and also Lucas, Lindsay, Colton, and Cade Smith. The following aunts and uncles, Lora Schwarz (Don Caudill), Scott Collins (Jennifer Angle), Brian Smith, Shane (Trista) Smith, Connie (Jerry) Willis, Delores (Donnie) Hodges, Barbara Gray, Pam Nevis and many other cousins, and loved ones. He was preceded in death by; his maternal great grandparents, The Reverend Kenneth and Mary Sanders; paternal great grandparents, Clifford C. Smith and Curt & Doris Ballinger; uncles, Robert Sanders and Charlie Braswell and extended family Robert Sanders ll, Tonya Braswell and Stephanie Ballinger. There will be a memorial service celebrating Shelby's life held at Shopville Community Park on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 6 pm for anyone who would like to attend. There will be a short service and reception to follow.
