Mr. Elbert Abrams, son of the late Charlie and Goldie Clark Abrams, was born in Hamilton, Ohio on February 5, 1934 and he departed this life on August 27th, 2008 having attained the age of 74 years.
He is survived by three daughters, Beverly Martin of West Carrolton, OH, Joyce (and Rick) Manning of Middletown, OH, and Sharon (and Troy) Hayes of Somerset, KY; three sons, Chuck (and Katrina) Abrams of Science Hill, KY, Wayne (and Virginia) Abrams of Eubank, KY and Richard Abrams of Science Hill, KY; eight grandsons, Joshua and Logan Abrams, Jason and Jacob Abrams, Jamie and Chris Wooten, Kevin McGohan, and Shawn Abrams; three grand-daughters, Ashley Wilson and Madison and Renee Abrams, two brothers, James and Ivory Abrams, and a host of other relatives who mourn his passing.
Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by; one grand-daughter, Tabitha Wilson, three brothers, Clayton, J.C. and Nelson Abrams,one sister, Roberta Abramsand his former wife and mother of his children, Shirlean Campbell Abrams.
Elbert was a factory worker for several years for the Aeronics Company of Hamilton,Ohio before moving back to Kentucky in his later years. He was a kind person who loved his family and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Poplarville Cemetery at Willailla, KY with Bro. Joshua Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Poplarville Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Elbert Abrams will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Tueday, September 2, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home.
