Lowell T. Vaught

Mr. Lowell T. Vaught age 83 of Science Hill, Kentucky son of the late Ben and Aliza Fannie (Allen) Vaught was born on June 6, 1931 in Pulaski County, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. He was united in marriage on September 23, 1950 to his loving wife; Ruby Mae (Spears) Vaught who survives, other survivors include a son; Jim (and Rhonda) Vaught of Science Hill, two daughter; Sherry (and Tony) Wilburn of Eubank, Kim Sheehan of Somerset, four sisters; Ruth Poynter of Lexington, Wanda Wood of Nancy, Frances Vaught of Somerset, Glenda (and Walter Jr.) Jones of Nashville, Tn., six grandchildren; Ben (and Whitney) Wilburn of Somerset, Amy (and Larry) Tannheimer of Louisville, Jamie (and Jacob) Burton of Somerset, Rachel (and Randy) Nettle of Somerset, Aaron Sheehan of Lexington and Lindsey (and Mason) Bowling of Somerset. Other than his parents Lowell was preceded in death by three brothers; Allen, John and Curtis Vaught. Lowell was a member of Nelson Valley Baptist Church and worked as a Butcher at A&P Grocery and retired from Maintenance with General Electric. Lowell loved woodworking, gardening, gospel singings, and watching University of Kentucky basketball. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 Sunday, July 13th, 2014 in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Grant Hardwick officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery The family of Mr. Vaught will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Sunday, July 13th, 2014 after 12 noon until time for services. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and /or Nelson Valley Baptist Church. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Lowell T.
