Truman Calhoun

Mr. Truman Calhoun, son of the late Jess and Dorothy Cook Calhoun, was born on August 08, 1940 and he departed this life on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 having attained the age of 68 years. He was united in marriage to Shirley Burton Calhoun, she survives. Other survivors include; three sons, Larry, Tim and Terry Calhoun, two daughters, Jennifer Neeley and Teresa Dick; seven grandchildren, Brian, April, Desiree, Steven, Amanda, Zach-Eathan, and Destiny; five great grandchildren, Alexia, Noah, Brianna, Marishka, and Kayleigh; two brothers, Stanley and William Calhoun; and one sister, Genevia Pence. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Anthony Calhoun, one great grandchild, Christian, and four brothers, Roy, Earl Lee, James and Lloyd Calhoun. Truman was a self employed painter, and he was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 2: 00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Ringgold Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008 The Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements of Mr. Truman Calhoun.
