Vivian (Bender) Sensabaugh

Mrs. Vivian (Bender) Sensabaugh, age 83, daughter of the late James H. and Alma Taft (Bastin) Bender, was born on August 7, 1930 in Lincoln County, Kentucky and departed this life on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Continue Care Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. Other than her parents Vivian was preceded in death by two brothers; Keith and Jack Bender, one sister; Freda Reynolds and one grandchild; Jennifer Reed. Vivian is survived by one son; Randall “Randy” Taylor (Sherry) of Somerset, one daughter; Ladonna (and Robert) Reed of Monticello, one brother; James “Jim” Bender of Ferguson, one sister; Audrey Dunn of Somerset, four grandchildren Laurel Taylor Peters (Brian), Scotty (and Alea) Taylor, Robert A. (and Monica) Reed and Sarah Odden. Vivian also leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and friends who all mourn her passing. Vivian was a member of Somerset Church of Christ and retired from the Corning Glass Company/North American Phillips. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Willie Ramsey and Shawn Bain officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Vivian Sensabaugh will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at the Pulaski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family requests expressions of sympathy can be made to the Humane Society and/or to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be handling all arrangements for Mrs. Vivian Sensabaugh.
