Berdeana "Dean" Stringer

Berdeana (Dean) Jean Roberts Stringer, 82 of Pleasant Hill, Somerset, KY passed away on May 20, 2014 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY following a lengthy illness Berdeana went to walk in Heaven with her parents, Carl and Dora Roberts; her brothers, Harold V Roberts and James W. Roberts, and her sisters, Mary E. Godby, Virginia Hart, Myrtle Roberts and Garnet Hines. Berdeana leaves behind; two sisters, Willma Thurman and Mildred Cash; her children, Terry L. Stringer and Debbie Stringer, all of Somerset, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Mandi St. John, Lynn Stringer, John Stringer and Jason Stringer; and eight great grandchildren, Kendall Grant St. John, Madeleine Grace St. John, Katherine Judilin Zhen St. John. Mahala Storm Stringer, Kristopher Tyrone Stringer, James Cohen Stringer, Julian Kendrick Stringer, and Mikkah Laurynn Stringer. Berdeana loved life, her family and God. To all her friends and family, know that you are loved. Always treat others as you would want to be treated – with love and kindness. Funeral services will be heald at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Tanner Cemetery. The family of Berdeana Stringer will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home Monday, May 26, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m.. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Habitat for Humanity, or the Carnegie Community Arts Center, 107 N. Main Street.
