Almond Bradley

Mr. Almond Bradley, son of the late Arthur and Martha Meece Bradley was born at Drum, Kentucky on January 26, 1930 and he departed this life on Sunday, may 18, 2014 having attained the age of 84 years. He was united in marriage to Erma Glover Bradley on December 30, 1948. She survives. Other survivors include; his son, Darwin (and Susan) Bradley of Michigan and grandsons, Brian (and Ashley) Strong of Somerset, KY, Chris, Ryan and Nathan Bradley of Michigan and four great grandchildren; Kloey and Ayla Strong, Bradley Strunk, and Jay Strunk; four sisters, Thelma (and Bill) Colyer, Wilma (and Jack) Ridener, Betty (and Earl) Loveless and Audrey (and Carl) Phelps. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by; one daughter, Eugenia Bradley Strong; one brother, Edward Bradley, and two sisters, Mildred Cook and Edna Woodall. Almond was a member of the Colo Baptist Church. He was also a school teacher having taught in the Pulaski County School District and the Somerset Independent School District for a total of 30 years. He was also a Korean Conflict veteran from 1947 - 1954 and in the Naval Reserves for 10 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Almond Bradley will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Almond Bradley.
