Judy Gossett

Mrs. Judy Gossett, the daughter of the late Woodrow Powers and the late Okla Murphy Powers, was born September 27, 1942 in Liberty, Kentucky and she departed this life on Sunday, April 27, 2014 in Barbourville, Kentucky having attained the age of 71 years. Judy was united in marriage to Bobby Gossett, he survives. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Jesse Power and Lonnie Powers, and two sisters; Wilma Brown and Nona Vaught. Survivors include; two children, Joby (Rita) Gossett of Nancy, KY and Joetta Gossett of Nancy, KY. Three grandchildren; Jordan Gossett and his fiancé (Samantha Ethridge), Christopher Lance (Samantha) Minton, and Brayden Gullett. Two great-grandchildren; Conner Minton and Jeremiah Gossett. Judy was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was an Owner/Clerk of Gossett’s General Store. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Murrell Crockett officiating. Burial will follow in Cain Town Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Judy Gossett will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
