Marie Baker, 89, 1281 Pole Bridge Road, Nancy, Kentucky, died Thursday, July 24, 2008, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born in the Naomi Community of Pulaski County, Kentucky, February 3, 1919. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church No.1, Nancy, Kentucky.
She is survived by her husband, Cecil Baker, Nancy; one sister, Adria Dwire, Louisville, two sons, Dana C. Baker (Lucile) Forrest City, Arkansas; and Roy Lee Baker (Brenda), Nancy; two grandchildren, Brian Lee Baker (Jennifer), Somerset; and Jeremy Neil Baker, Nancy; three great-grandchildren, Holden Raines, Forrest City, Arkansas; Rebekah Moore, Forrest City, Arkansas, and Jack Thomas Baker, Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coral and Isabelle Trimble; three brothers Othel Trimble, Lewell Trimble, and Ethredge Trimble, one sister, Versie Merrick, and one grandchild, Tonya Moore.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Pulaski Funeral Home with Brother Glenn Singleton and Donovan Smith officiating.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery at Nancy, KY
The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2008.
