Sherwin Eugene Rucker

Sherwin Eugene Rucker age 63 , Loving husband, Father, and Grandfather was escorted home to be with our Lord on April 4th, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was a retired RN and a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He loved to play piano, guitar, enjoyed writing praise songs, and loved the Lord. He is survived by his wife Angel Mckinney Rucker, 3 children, Lisa Rucker Redd of Adairsville,Ga. Jamey L. Rucker of Somerset, Ky.  Laura Rucker Childers of Berea, Ky. and nine grandchildren, Tiannena Mullins, Micheal Childers, Heather Childers, Kayla Childers, Blake Rucker, Molly Rucker, Israel Childers, Madison Rucker and Abby Redd and his Mother Dolores Rucker of McRoberts, Ky. He was the son of the late Robert Eugene Rucker. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Kay Rucker-Wright and a brother Dennis Rucker.  And though we grieve, we know "To be absent in the flesh is to be present with the Lord." A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday April 8th, 2014 at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation for Mr. Sherwin Eugene Rucker will be from 6 to 9 PM Monday, April 7th, 2014 at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
