Ms. Ada Sue Diamond, age 80, daughter of the late Cameron Floyd and Maude Katherine (Spears) Diamond was born on December 27, 1933 in Eubank, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
Ada was united in marriage to Eugene Brownlow Stonecypher, he preceded her in death, she was also preceded in death by her parents, one son; James David Stonecypher and one daughter; Elise Stonecypher.
Ada is survived by two sons; Lane Stonecypher of Frankfort, Kentucky, Michael “Stoney” Stonecypher of Somerset, Kentucky, one daughter, Lori (and Mike) Yeager of Somerset, Kentucky, three sisters; Toots Bowling of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jean Diamond and Shirley Harding both of Somerset. Ada also leaves behind six grandchildren; Jason Diamond, Katie (and Tim) Mclean, Jordan Yeager, Joshua Yeager, Kathleen Stonecypher, Adrienne Stonecypher, three great-grandchildren; Jesse Mclean, Noah Mclean, Kamaryn Elise Diamond and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing.
Ada was a Cartographer, a Champion Sharp Shooter, she loved music, sewing, reading (especially her Bible) and was kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home.
