Mr. Huey Baker, JR. son of the late Hughie Baker, SR and Ethel Lewis Puckett Baker, was born in Nicholasville, KY on June 17, 1933 and he went home to be with the Lord on July 04, 2008 having attained the age of 75 years.
Survivors include; two sons, Johnny Baker and Russell Baker both of Somerset, KY; six daughters, Kathy Baker Ferrieri, June Sherly Baker and Diane Hurt all of Nicholasville, KY, Terese Melton of Somerset, KY, Sirena Adams and Christie Crase of Campton, KY; three brothers, Nick Baker of Somerset, KY, Paul Ray Baker and Billy Baker both of Nicholasville, KY; one sister, Gladys Smith of Somerset, KY; one daughter-in-law, Lizz Baker of Somerset, KY; four son-in-laws, Clint Hurt of Nicholasville, KY, Danny Melton of Somerset, KY, John Adams and Jeff Crase both of Campton, KY; also surviving are 34 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one son; Steven Shelby Baker; two brothers, Fred Baker and Frankie Robinson Baker; and one sister, Irama Lee Baker.
Huey will be greatly missed and loved by all who knew him. He has gone home to be with the Lord, but, he is not forgotten.
Funeral services for Mr. Huey Baker, JR will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.
The family of Mr. Baker will receive friends on Monday, July 7, 2008 from 6-9p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
