Jeffery Ray Meece, the son of Bernita Mounce Meece and the late James A. Meece, was born on Thursday, May 4, 1961 and he departed this life on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 52 years, 8 months and 25 days. Other than his mother, he is survived by; one brother, Tony Keith Meece; four sisters, Barbara Bullock, Sandy (and Rex) Stevens, Teresa (and Doug) Muse, and Angie (and Neal) Jackson. He is also survived by the following nieces and nephews, Dustin Meece, Jessica Roberts, Amy (and Joel) Keefe, Natasha (and Sam) Hall, Chasity (and Kenny) Rollins, Christopher (and Billie) Muse and Ryan (and Renee) Muse and the following great nieces and nephews, Spencer and Sophia Rollins, Abilene, Maggie, and Parker James Muse, a special friend, Jimmy Watson, a special dog, Junior, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Other than his father, he was also preceded in death by; one brother, Robert James Meece, and a nephew by marriage Brian Roberts. Jeffery was a kind person and he adhered to the Baptist faith, he will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 2, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Malvin Hill Cemetery. The family of Mr. Jeffery Ray Meece will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Jeffery Meece.
