Edwin Paul Jones

Mr. Edwin Paul Jones, son of the late Oda Paul and Estelle Osborne Jones, was born in Somerset, Kentucky on Sunday, November 15, 1925 and he departed tis life on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 88 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Betty Jean Jones, she preceded him in death. Survivors include; one sister, Betty Jean Dobson of Somerset, Kentucky and one nephew, Michael Dobson also of Danville, Kentucky. Other than his parents and wife Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his daughter; Paula Jean Jones and one sister; Doris Jones. Mr. Jones when active worked for the newsprint industry. He was a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of the Somerset First United Methodist Church. He was a kind person who will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Spitzer officiating. Burial will follow in the Science Hill cemetery. The family of Mr. Edwin Paul Jones will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 12 noon Monday, February 3, 2014 until time for services. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. Edwin Paul Jones.
