Margaret Elizabeth Kelley Roberts

Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Kelley Roberts, daughter of the late Stuart and Oma Rigney Kelly, was born on Saturday, April 21, 1934 in Wayne County, Kentucky and she departed this life in Somerset, Kentucky on Thursday, January 2, 2014 having attained the age of 79 years , 8 months and 12 days. She was united in marriage to Mr. Jesse Woodrow Roberts on February 9, 1952 in Wayne County, Kentucky, he preceded her in death on March 8, 2007 after 55 years of marriage. Survivors include; three children, Portia (and Tommy) Maybrier, and Pamela (and Darren) Barnett all of Somerset, Kentucky and one son, Danny Jesse (and Connie) Roberts of Lexington, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Andrew (and Angie) Maybrier, Wally (and Leah) Maybrier, Tracy (and Rick) McCrystal, Davin (and Bridget) Roberts, Cheyenne Barnett and Kelby Barnett; and 9 great grandchildren, Jakob, Seth, Lukas, Ian, and Laney Jo Maybrier, Kent and Katie Dalton and Connor and Caine Roberts. Other than her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Elvie, and two sisters, Dorothy and Doris. Mrs. Roberts worked for more than 17 years as a Patient Aide with Oakwood Training Facility in Somerset, Kentucky. Margaret enjoyed playing Bingo, and spending time with her family. She was a kind, loving person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2014 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Butte officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Kelley Roberts will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 5, 2014.
