Deroy Haynes

Mr. Deroy Haynes, son of the late Alvin Lee and Ruth Heath Haynes, was born November 6, 1927 and he departed this life on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 86 years. Survivors include; two sisters-in-law, Violet Haynes and Bertha Haynes Johnson and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives who mourn his passing. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law; Rev. Edwin Watkin and Porter Hughes; two brothers, Lester and Willie “Bill” Haynes; two sisters, Bertie Watkins and Nannie Margaret Hughes, and two half brothers, Gleason and Columbus Ramsey. He adhered to the Baptist faith, and was a Korean War Army Veteran, he was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Haynes and Bro. Mark Ellis officiating. Burial will follow in the Haynes Cemetery. The family of Mr. Deroy Haynes will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 until time for services.
