Heaven gained another angel on this night Christine Dykes Griffith 85, died Friday Dec. 20th 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital following an illness. She was born in Pulaski County on July 28, 1928. She was the daughter of Bill and Laura Rose Dykes. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Victory. She married Donald Griffith Nov. 23rd 1946. He preceded her in death. Survivors include the following; her daughter, Wanda (and Bob) Ping of Somerset Kentucky, her son, Donald (and Kelly) Griffith of Falmouth Kentucky, her daughter, Rosetta (and John) Abney of Somerset Kentucky. She also leaves behind; six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandbabies. She leaves behind; 2 brothers, Oscar (and Barb) Dykes of Somerset Kentucky, Onva (and Donna) Dykes of Indiana; three sisters, Lila (and Norm) of Indiana, Faye also of Indiana, Hulda (and Charles) of Somerset Kentucky. She will be missed by all of her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by; her parents, her husband and two daughters Linda Griffith who died in infancy and Connie Haynes. Also preceding her in death are; 2 brothers, Lawrence and Roy Paul, and three sisters, Beulah, Arettia, Iva Dean. Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Dykes Griffith will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Christine Griffith will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2013 until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Christine Dykes Griffith.
