James R. "Jim" Gosser

Mr. James R. "Jim" Gosser, age 71 of Somerset, Kentucky son of the late James A. and Zula Faye Estes Gosser was born on September 1, 1942 in Somerset, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at his residence. Other than his parents Jim was preceded in death by a granddaughter; Jessica Leah McLin. Jim is survived by one son; Leroy (and Amy) Gosser of Somerset, Kentucky, one daughter; Sherry (and Alan) Reed of Somerset, Kentucky, one brother; Wayne Rogers of Indianapolis, Indiana and four sisters; Darlene, Brenda, Jessie and Vicky all of Indianapolis, Indiana. Jim is also survived by four grandchildren; James Paul Gosser, Matthew Gosser, Macie Reed, Carlee Reed and a host of relatives and friends who all mourn her passing. Jim was a member at Langdon Street Baptist Church and worked as a Volkswagen mechanic. Jim served as a Sergeant from 1962-1966 in the United States Air Force. Jim was also state service worker and very active in the American Legion and loved to fish. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Jim Gosser will receive friends after 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mr. James R. "Jim" Gosser
