Iva Jean Erp

Iva Jean Jones Erp the daughter of the late Pete and Versie Russell Jones was born at Bald Rock, Kentucky on April 4, 1931 and departed this life on November 5, 2013 in Somerset KY having obtained the age of 82 years. She was united in marriage to Robert Howard Erp in Somerset, Kentucky on December 21, 1952 he survives. Other survivors are one son Michael Erp and his wife Elizabeth, of Somerset, two granddaughters; Sarah Erp (Dirk) Cundiff and Megan Erp (Christopher) Fleshman, four great granddaughters Addison Fleshman, Ella, Sofia, and Isabell Cundiff. One brother Dale (Rose) Jones, three sisters; Madlyn Phillips, Delma Barnett, Marie Fox and several Nieces and Nephews, Iva Jean was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Clifford ”Bud” Jones, two sisters; Myrtle House and Barbra Murry. She was a Member of Langdon Street Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for over forty years. She taught school for over forty years in the Pulaski County School System where she taught three generations of the same family in many cases, Iva Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. A funeral service for Iva Jean Erp will be held on Friday November 8, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Chandler and Dr. James Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Iva Jean Erp will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 Pulaski funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
