Anna P. Neely

Mrs. Anna P. Neely, daughter of the late Sam and Peyton Purdom Hord, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky on Wednesday, January 28, 1931 and she departed this life on Sunday, November 3, 2013 having attained the age of 82 years, 9 months and 6 days. She was united in marriage to Mr. Henry Neely, Jr., he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son, Jeff Neely of Somerset, KY; one daughter, Jamie (and Tommy) Burton of Science Hill, KY; three grandchildren, Katie Jo Neely, Heather Burton, and Clay Burton; and two sisters, Francis Spears of Williamstown, KY, and Inette Sadler of Somerset, KY. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her precious grandson, Brian Roberts, and three sisters, Dollie Mae Hord, Helen Barnes Bradley, and Margaret Lois Wormuth. Anna was a member of the Somerset First Baptist Church, she was a kind, generous lady who will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. on November 6, 2013 at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens where burial will follow immediately after the graveside services. The family of Mrs. Anna P. Neely will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
