Mr. Glen O. Polson

Mr. Glen O. Polson, son of the late Earnest and Beatrice Polson, was born in Pulaski County, KY on July 25, 1941 and he departed this life at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center on Friday, October 25, 2013 having attained the age of 72 years. Survivors include two aunts, Zella Loveless of Somerset, KY and Louise Petrey of Columbus, Ohio; one uncle, Melvin Harper of Virginia; and three special caregivers in his life, Bobby Cook, Geleva Schmitz and Dana Davis, and a host of other relatives who will mourn his passing. Glen attended the Active Day of Somerset, KY and he loved Gospel music and western TV shows. He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, October28, 2013 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Greg Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Barnesburg Cemetery. The family of Mr. Glen O. Polson will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Monday until time for services. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503.
