Shirley Bray

Shirley Bray, daughter of the late Steve and Desdia Heir Thompson, was born March 14, 1936 and she departed this life on July 23, 2013 having attained the age of 77 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Robert Bray, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; Three Brothers, Roy (and June) Thompson of Ferguson, KY, Orville (and Bonnie) Thompson of Burnside, Kentucky, and Wayne (and Myrtle) Thompson of Crossville, Tennessee; three sisters, Beulah Casada of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Violet Haynes of Ferguson, Kentucky and Jo Ann Thompson of Hiseville, Kentucky; one sister-in law, Rosie Thompson of Somerset, Kentucky and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; one son, Frankie Bray; Seven sisters, and five brothers. Shirley was a member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church # 1, a Palm Beach retiree and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Haynes Knob Fire Department and the Pulaski County Rescue Squad. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Don Kennedy and Bro. Raymond Ridner officiating. Burial will follow in the Haynes Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Shirley Bray will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013.
