William Lee "Peanut" Murphy

Mr. William Lee “Peanut” Murphy, age 72, of Somerset, Kentucky son of the late Herbert and Lizzie Bell (Burchfield) Murphy was born on December 23, 1940 in Pulaski County, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, July 22, 2013 at his residence in the presence of his family. Other than his parents Mr. Murphy was preceded in death by two sons; Robert Lee Murphy and Henry Murphy, one brother; Robert Henry Murphy. Mr. Murphy is survived by his wife; Delma U. (Sears) Murphy, one son; John Jacob (Rebecca) Murphy, two daughters; Patricia Ann Bolin and Wanda Lynn (Rick) Hines, one brother; Herbert Richard(Christine) Murphy, one sister-in-law; Margie Murphy all of Somerset. Mr. Murphy also leaves behind six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews who all mourn his passing. Mr. Murphy was a member of Wesleys Chapel Baptist Church and loved doing mechanic work. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Sears officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesleys Chapel Cemetery. The family of Mr. William Lee “ Peanut” Murphy will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2013 after 11:00 a.m. until time for services at Pulaski Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family request contributions take the form of donations to the William Lee “Peanut” Murphy memorial fund c/o Pulaski Funeral Home. Also the family would like to thank everyone who has already contributed. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements for Mr. William Lee “Peanut” Murphy.
