Harvey Garner

T/Sgt Harvey C. Garner 76, went to be with his Lord July 7, 2013. He was married to Della Zora Caylor Garner for 55 years. He was the son of the late Virgil Marion and Ruth Shepperd Garner, he was born at Shepola, KY, October 30, 1936. Harvey was a Member of Sievers Masonic Lodge #491, a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist church where he served as a deacon, and was retired from the U.S. Navy and Air force, he spent many years loving and caring for his family. He is survived by his wife, two daughters; Stephanie Ann (Benny) Paterson, Yvonne Louise (Gerald) Roberts, four grandchildren; Renee’ Ann Yanders, Lorrie C. (Brian) Hanners, Valerie Ann (Michael) Cook, Christopher Lee (Heather) Roberts; five great grandchildren, Landon Brandley Hanners, Jackson Shelby Hanners, Owen Harvey Hanners, Lucy Kya Cook, Monroe Parker Cook, three brothers; Larry Lee (Joan) Garner of Nancy, Lenzie W. (Regina) Garner of Nancy, Layton B Garner (Sandy) Garner of Jacksonville AR, two sisters; Ruth Marie (Waynith ) Frye, of Nancy and Janice Kathleen Whitaker. Harvey was preceded in death his parents , three siblings; John William Franklin, Edgar Marion, and Jean Garner. He was a loving and kind person that will be missed by all of his family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 11th, 2013 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Hines and Bro. C.E. Jacobs officiating. Burial to follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Harvey Garner will receive friend after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday July 10th, 2013 at Pulaski Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard. Masonic service will be conducted by Sievers Lodge # 491 Wednesday July 10,2013 at 7:30 p.m. Pulaski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
