Della Sue Vickers

Della Sue Vickers, daughter of the late Ermil and Estella Turner Stogsdill, was born in Pulaski County, KY on October 3, 1946, and she departed this life in the presence of her family on Friday, April 11, 2008 having attained the age of 61 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Edward “Eddie” Vickers, he survives. Other survivors include, Linda Guilbeault of Missouri, Billy and Carol Henson of Michigan, Carol (and Lenny) Sparkman of Florida, Bobby Peek of Michigan, Amanda (and Steve) Griffith, the following grandchildren; Rachael Guilbeault, A-rian and Jacob Henson, Diana and Lenny Sparkman, Chloe Peek, and Hayley and Alexis Griffith; two sisters, Diane (and Jerry) Kaczmarczyk of Virginia and Dale Shahan of Michigan, her mother-in-law, Hazel Vickers and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Della was of the Baptist Faith. Her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren and other family members. She enjoyed Sewing, Bowling, and traveling. Funeral services will be held at the Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Burial will follow in the Whetstone Cemetery. The family of Della Sue Vickers will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Whetstone Cemetery Fund. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements of Della Sue Vickers.
