Mrs. Ernestine McCartt

Mrs. Ernestine McCartt, daughter of the late Ernest and Zelma Brown Jones, was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 21, 1930 and she departed this life on June 5, 2013 having attained the age of 83 years. She was united in marriage for more than 60 years to Mr. Doc McCartt. He survives. Other survivors include a host of Nephews, Nieces, great nephews and nieces and other relatives who mourn her passing. Ernestine was a member of the Somerset First Baptist Church, she worked as a book keeper for many years for Ledford and Ellis, and she also was a valued member of the staff of Pulaski Funeral Home where she was an attendant during visitations and funerals. She was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. John Roark officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Ernestine McCartt will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013.
