Shirley M. Webster, daughter of the late D. and Edith Van Arkel, was born in Chicago, IL on February 13, 1929 and she departed this life on June 3, 2013 in Franklin, Ohio having attained the age of 84 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. William H. Webster, he survives. Other survivors include; one son, Daniel (and Patti) Prawucki; one daughter, Sharon (and Ron) Kurtz; a step-son, Robert Webster; a daughter-in-law, Becky Webster; her grandchildren, Beth Locke, Wendy Hicks, Amy Phelps, Mandi Webster, Angela Bowling, Mathew Webster, Steven Kurtz, Lori Prawucki and Jennifer Webb and 19 great grandchildren.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, James Webster, one great grandson, Clayton Webster, one step-son, William Webster, two brothers, Henry Van Arkel and Bud Van Arkel and one sister, Diane Wireman.
Shirley worked at Aeronca, Inc. in Middletown, Ohio for 25 years and retired from Martin Marietta in Baltimore, Maryland. She enjoyed boating, gardening and time spent with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2013 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Webster will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services.
