Charles Morris Stogsdill, age 57, was born on April 6, 1950 and departed this life on March 31, 2008, at his home surrounded by his family in Somerset after a brave battle with cancer. Mr. Stogsdill was a Christian and member of Providence Baptist Church; he was a Sunday school teacher for several years. Charles was a retired mechanic for the Pulaski County Road Department. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. Mr. Stogsdill is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Margaret Elaine (Mounce) Stogsdill, 2 sons, Charles Michael (and Tangy) Stogsdill, William Ross (and Scotty) Stogsdill, 1 daughter, Jodi Michelle (and Randy) Mize, 6 Grandchildren, Charles Matthew Mize, Rachel Marie Mize, Rebakah Michelle Mize, Jarod Ray Stogsdill, Abbey Lynn Stogsdill, and Chloe Jo Stogsdill. Mr. Stogsdill is also survived by his parents Herman and Edith Pauline Harris Stogsdill, 3 brothers, Herman Mitchell (and Sharon) Stogsdill, Gary Lynn (and Sharon) Stogsdill, Jerald Lee (and Emmie) Stogsdill, 5 sisters, Connie Sue Wolfe, Mary Lou (and Clint) Ridener, Brenda Faye (and Jerry) Miller, Sandra Kay (and Lincoln) Meece, and Judy May (and Douglas) Ridner. Mr. Stogsdill is preceded in death by a son, Clayton Matthew Stogsdill, who passed away January 11, 1998, also his Paternal grandparents Victor and Ona (Erp) Stogsdill, Maternal grandparents, James and Ethel (Whitis) Harris, also a brother-in-law William Wolfe III. Mr. Stogsdill leaves behind a host of other loving family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Funeral services for Mr. Charles Stogsdill will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. The family of Mr. Stogsdill will receive friends on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Pulaski Funeral Home after 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Pine Thicket Cemetery. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored and Privileged to be in charge of all funeral arrangements for Mr. Charles Stogsdill.
