Joyce Black

Mrs. Joyce Black, age 59, of Kidder, Kentucky daughter of the late Marie (Brown) and Carl Bolen was born on April 26, 1954 in Pulaski County, Kentucky and departed this life on Monday, May 27, 2013 at Madison Health & Rehab in Richmond, Kentucky. Other than her parents Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband; Howard Black. Joyce is survived by three sons; Wayne (and Jenni) Black, Billy Black and Kyle Black all of Somerset, Kentucky, one daughter; Kathy Ridner also of Somerset, Kentucky, one brother; Ronnie (and Paulette) Bolen of Ohio, one sister; Bonnie (and Clyde) Emmons of Ohio. Joyce also leaves behind 5 grandchildren; Alexis Ridner, Bryson Warren, Kaylee Black, Addison Black and Coty Black. Joyce was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker, she loved being outdoors and sewing. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. James Mills officiating. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery. The family of Joyce Black will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
