Jacqueline Thompson

Jacqueline “Jackie” Thompson, age 79, of Somerset, Kentucky, daughter of the late Marshall and Eula (Herrin) Jackson was born on April 3, 1934 in Sugar Hill, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. Other than her parents Jackie was preceded in death by her grandparents; William Robert (Cal) and Sophia Bobbitt Jackson and John Wesley and Rosa Estep Herrin and two brothers; Dennis and Gordon Jackson. Jackie is survived by one son; Dan (and Mary) Jackson of Science Hill, Kentucky, two granddaughters; Samantha Jackson Downing and Dianna Jackson, two great granddaughters; MaKayla and Lili Jackson, two sisters; Velvia June Phelps and Carolyn Hackney, one sister-in-law; Rose Jackson and many nieces and nephews who all mourn her passing. Jacqueline was a retired cook and loved collecting dolls and crocheting. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. William Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Lick Cemetery. The family of Jacqueline Thompson will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at the Pulaski Funeral Home.
