Alma (Martin) Daulton

Alma (Martin) Daulton, age. 89, of 182 Breezy Hills Drive, Somerset, KY passed away early Sunday morning, March 16, 2008 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. Born in the Wayne County, KY community on March 31, 1918 she would have celebrated her 90th birthday this year. She was the daughter of the late William Eli and Hester Jane (Tucker) Martin. She was a member of the Upper Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Wayne County, KY. She was married to Lester Daulton who preceded her in death on March 5, 1998. They resided most of their married life in Clinton County, IN where she worked as a nurse’s aid for almost 30 years. Survivors include four sons, Jack (Carol) Daulton and Gene (Mildred) Daulton both of Somerset, KY, Winford C. (Mary) Daulton of Otterbein, IN, and Harold Reed (Sarah) Daulton of Kirklin, IN. Also surviving is one is one daughter, Shirley (Dave) Bradley of Tipton, IN; three brothers, Estil (Leona) Martin and Robert Martin of Somerset, KY and Hillard (Vena) Martin of Science Hill, KY; two sisters, Beulah Martin and Velta Martin of Somerset, KY, one brother-in-law, Paul Bolin of Somerset, KY and on sister-in-law, Clara Martin of Frankfort, IN. Mrs. Daulton is also survived by 12 grandchildren, of which there are five grandsons, Mark(Vicki) Daulton, Rick Daulton, Blake Daulton, Scott (Dalena) Bradley and Chad (Megan) Bradley and seven granddaughter, Sandra Daulton, Melissa (Eddy) Taylor, Lori (Eric) Carter, Kymberly (Chris) Neis, Janet Daulton, Whitney Daulton, and Krista (Andrew) Burkhart. Mrs. Daulton also leaves behind 12 Great grandchildren. Alma Daulton was preceded in death by her parents and three brother, Elza Martin, Norvel Martin, Pierce Martin (infant) and two sisters, Imogean Bolin and Madeline Martin (infant). Funeral Services will be held on Thursday March 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with reverend Gary Morris and Dr. Andrew Burkhart officiating. The Family of Alma Daulton will receive friends on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 after 6:00 p.m. at Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements.
