Jermiah Robert Meece

Jermiah Robert Meece, son of the late Arthur and Mary Mayfield Meece, was born on Wednesday December 3, 1924 at White Lily, Kentucky, and he departed this life on Sunday, March 31, 2013 in Somerset, Kentucky having attained the age of 88 years. He was united in marriage to Mrs. Odena Ping, she survives. Other survivors include; one son, Jerry (and Martha) Meece of White Lily, KY; one brother, Carl Meece of White Lily, KY; one sister, Effie Mae Hargis of Ruth, KY and two grandchildren, Cierra and Jacob Meece both of White Lily, KY. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. Robert was retired from Cumberland Wood and Chair and he was a member of the White Lily Baptist Church. He enjoyed raising a garden and fishing. He was a kind person who will be missed by all who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn his passing. Funeral services for Mr. Robert Meece will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2013 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Warren and Bro. Doug Eggers officiating. Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery. The family of Mr. Robert Meece will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2013. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the White Lily Cemetery Fund, 1308 Hwy 192, Somerset, KY 42501.
