Lillie Shaw

Mrs. Lillie (Chumbley) Wilson Shaw , age 91, daughter of the late Cassie (Stevens) and Cornelious Chumbley was born on October 1, 1921 in Russell County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center. She was a homemaker and foster parent for many years and was a member of High Street Baptist Church. Lillie is survived by 1 sister: Mabel Minton of Windsor, Kentucky, son-in-law: Everett Dunaway, 1 grandson: Ed (and Laura) Dunaway of Lexington, Kentucky, 3 great-grandchildren: James Dunaway, Thomas (and Christy) Foley and Christina Rogers, 4 great great-grandchildren: Blake Denham, Christopher Wynn, Aries and Skylar White, 12 stepchildren one she raised: Debbie (and Donnie) Dungan of Science Hill, Kentucky, 24 step grandchildren, 27 step great-grandchildren, 2 step great great-grandchildren and 2 special foster children: Ginger Reed of Arkansas and A.J. Potter of Missouri. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands: Truman Wilham 1945-1959, Leon Wilson 1961-1966, Russell Shaw 1983-1997, 1 daughter: Patricia Dunaway, 1 infant daughter, 1 granddaughter: Debbie Johnson, 1 infant great-grandson, 2 brothers; Elvert and Elbert Chumbley, 6 sisters: Cora Luttrell, Ida Mae Luttrell, Berthetta Turpin, Ella Turpin, Rosetta Wilson and Vader Wilkerson. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Noel Dodson and Bro. Sammie Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Lillie Shaw will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
