William V. Lovelace, Jr.

July 16, 1927 — March 4, 2008

Mr. Willliam V. Lovelace, Jr., son of the late William V. and Stella Hager Lovelace was born in Perry County, KY on July 16 ,1927 and departed this life on March 04, 2008 having attained the age of 80 years. He was united in marriage to Patricia Cornett Lovelace on April 04, 1958 in Hazard, KY, she survives. Other survivors include; one daughter, Sharon (and Mike) Brewer of Richmond, KY, one son, Larry (and Beah) Whitaker of Somerset, KY; four sisters, Maxine (and Adrien) Fields of Louisville, KY, Pauline Combs of Indiana, Anita Conway of West Union, OH, and Stella Jo Rice of Richmond, KY; two brothers, Gene (and Mary) Lovelace of Indiana, Jay C. (and Helen) Lovelace of Xenia, OH; one grandaughter, Autumn Whitaker of Somerset, KY, two grandsons, Chase Whitaker and Chancellor Whitaker both of Somerset, KY and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn his passing. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mack Lovelace. He was a retired Vietnam veteran after giving 20 years of service to the U. S. Air Force. He was also a state worker, he had been named a Kentucky Colonel and he adhered to the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Altman officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mr. William “Bill” Lovelace, Jr. will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 38 Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements of Mr. William “Bill” Lovelace, Jr.
