Mr. Herbert Ray “Herbie” Haste, son of the late Harvey and Nina Sutton Haste, was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on Sunday, December 22, 1940 and he departed this life on Monday, February 4, 2013 having attained the age of 72 years, 1 month and 13 days.
Survivors include; three children; Norman Ray (and Angie) Haste of Louisville, Kentucky, Gerald Wade (and Theresa) Haste of New Mexico and Timothy Haste of Shepherdsville, Kentucky ; one brother, Carol Thomas (and Betty) Haste of Somerset, Kentucky; six sisters Irene (and Donald) Hall of Cheviot, Ohio, Lois Melton of Cincinnati, Ohio, Lula Dick of Somerset, Kentucky, Barbara (and Charles) Wilson of Somerset, Kentucky, Pauline (and Floyd) Wiles of Somerset, Kentucky and Dorothy (and Leon) Whiles of Somerset, Kentucky and several grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Harvey Haste who died in infancy and Harold Lester Haste.
Mr. Haste was a person who enjoyed playing his guitar, and he loved music. He will be missed by those who knew him and he leaves a host of relatives who mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Ray “Herbie” Haste will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7th 2013 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Willie Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Sardis Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Herbert Ray “Herbie” Haste will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning until time for services.
