Hestina “Mae” Farmer of Somerset, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother departed this life to be with her Heavenly Father on December, 28th 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Millard and Hattie Keith Collins. She was united in marriage to Lowell Farmer and he preceded her in death on August, 23rd, 1992. She was a faithful member of the Heritage Hope Church of God where she had 42 years and 3 months perfect attendance in Sunday School. She loved her church and church family. Especially, her pastor, Brother Johnny Dunbar who she always said was the best preacher she had ever heard. Mae leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Lois (Glen) Mounce, Doris Linder and Betty (John David) Sears, Grandchildren: John “Chris” Daws, Tiffany “Tippy” Eastham and Samantha Farmer, and a great-grandson Eli Eastham, and a sister, Hilda Lay. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, whom passed away on August, 23rd 1992 and a son, James Lowell Farmer who passed away on June, 2nd, 2011. Brothers; Herbert, Howard and Hillard; Sisters; Helen, Hazel, Hester and Hestelle. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm in the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home and at Heritage Hope Church of God on Bourne Ave. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 9:00 am until time for service. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1:00 pm with Brother Johnny Dunbar officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Heritage Hope Church of God. Interment will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY. Pulaski Funeral is entrusted with the arrangements.
