Mrs. Gloria Wesley

Gloria Lavonne Osborne Wesley, daughter of the late George and Lula Larkin Osborne, was born in Eubank, KY on August 28, 1925. She departed this life in Somerset, Kentucky on Friday, December 28, 2012 at the age of 87. She was united in marriage to Mr. Ben Wesley on May 23, 1944 in Eubank, Kentucky. He survives.  Other survivors include: two sons, Dale Thomas (and Vickie Gumm) Wesley and Kenneth Wayne (and Connie Isaac) Wesley; five grandchildren; Nelson C. (and Betsy Jo) Wesley, Joy Y. (and Gonzalo) Lopez, Jessica L. (and Buddy) Berry, Sarah L (and Roger) Thomas, and Clayton T. (and Caresse) Wesley; and 11 great grandchildren. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers: Victor, Donald, Willard, and Conard Osborne. Gloria was a retired Cosmetologist and the owner of Gloria’s Beauty Shop for more than 50 years.  She was a member of the Somerset First Baptist Church and was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Gloria Wesley will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013 until after services.
