Mrs. Maxine Gastineau

Mrs. Maxine Gastineau, age 87, of Somerset, KY went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2012 at the Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia. She was born on May 7, 1925 to the late James H. and Desda B. Meece Adams. She is also preceded in death by her husband Lucian Gastineau; her brothers, Milton Adams and James “Jop” Adams. She is survived by her daughter, Sue (and Russell) Hewitt of Dalton, Georgia; a sister, Ida Holladay (and Bill) Gooch of Joplin, Missouri; a grandson Christopher (and Christy) Ray; great grandchildren, Laeken Nichole and Braydon Ray all of Nicholasville, Kentucky; three nieces, Sandra (and Milford) Norfleet, Paula Kay Adams all of Somerset, Kentucky, Billie (and Mark) Skelley of Joplin, Missouri; two nephews, Donald (and Judy) Holladay of Austin, Texas and Steve (and Toni) Adams of Berea, Kentucky. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2012 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Lonnie Sewell officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Maxine Gastineau will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Thursday until time for services. In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Hamilton Hospice / Hamilton Medical Center P. O. Box 1168, Dalton, Georgia 30720.
